Keeping me safe

Our Safeguarding Officers. We have the special job of making sure you are all safe.

This Young People's Safeguarding Charter makes it very clear, what our children should expect. All of us at South Parade Primary School are totally invested in this charter.
At South Parade, we have lots of policies to make sure our school is the best that it can be and that everyone knows what to do to make that happen. We have a Safeguarding Policy that every adult who works or volunteers in school, has read and follows. Safeguarding is all about keeping our young people safe, so we have a 'Children's Safeguarding' Policy so you know exactly what you can expect from us.

If you are worried about anything, there is always someone you can talk to in school.

If there is a time when you feel that you need to talk to someone different or school is not open, then you can phone ChildLine - there is someone who will listen / help you any time of the day, seven days per week.

ChildLine is a private and confidential service for children and young people up to the age of 19. You can contact a ChildLine counsellor about anything -no problem is too big or too small. You can call free on 0800 1111, have a 1-2-1 chat online or send an email.
