Literacy

At South Parade Primary, we aim to develop a life-long love of reading; focussing on language comprehension and word reading.  Children love listening to a range of stories; rhymes, poems and songs to develop their language comprehension.  Children have daily phonics sessions to provide the skills to become confident readers and writers.

We love to read in Early Years.
