Our topic this term is called Roots, Shoots and Muddy Boots.
It is all about growing different things in flowers, plants, fruits and vegetables and changes in our season of Spring!
Here are some activities that you and your child can do at home should you find yourself having to isolate with family for our first topic book of this term - Jasper's Beanstalk.
Here is a link for you to watch the story at home if you don't have access to the book at home
1) Create your own beanstalk! How tall can you make it? How many leaves can you add? You could make your beanstalk out of old boxes, bottles and cardboard tubes.
2) Take a walk around your local area, park, gardens - what can you find growing? You could take a pen and paper to draw what you find!
3) Draw a picture to show what you think would be at the top of Jasper's Beanstalk!
4) Can you remember what happens on each day of Jasper planting his seeds?
