Presenting our Stone Age projects

26.9.19 - Stonehenge Reading Safari!: We had to search high and low in our classroom to find the answers to questions about Stonehenge. Did you know that it took over 1000 years to build?

26.9.19 - The school nurse came to teach us all about how to keep our teeth clean. We learnt that now we are seven we should be using adult toothpaste so that we get enough fluoride!

20.9.19: Science - We looked at and examined the 3 different types of rocks (sedimentary, metamorphic and igneous) and discussed their properties. We saw that some had layers, some seemed sandy, some contained crystals and some were very smooth.

Making scarecrows for the Ossett Scarecrow Festival - we made the bean-seller from Jack and the Beanstalk

History: We're really enjoying our Stone Age topic! We've done lots of drama to act out Stone Age life - can you tell what jobs we're doing? We even got chance to taste Stone Age stewed berries!

Our lovely class!
