Spelling test
Your task for today for spelling is to complete a spelling test. You can give yourself as much time as you need to complete this. When you’ve marked them at the end, don’t worry if there are some that are incorrect – we do spelling tests so you know which words you still need to practise!

Yesterday, I found a pebble, and it made me wonder - what was the life of this pebble? Where did it come from? How old is it? What has this pebble seen? Where has it been?
I want you to tell me what you think has happened to my pebble over its lifetime. Think about what happened to the pebble in the story of Pebble in My Pocket. Maybe you could ‘magpie’ some ideas from the story.
In your writing, I want you to think carefully about each sentence. Treat this piece of writing as a ‘Big Write’. I would love to see you could include some Fronted Adverbials, like we looked at this week, but most importantly I want you to think about the key features every sentence has and needs. Remember to include a capital letter and full stop in EVERY sentence. I can see lots of people have been taking care with their letters in their writing but I want you to now make sure you are joining your handwriting up. Below I have put the link to our school handwriting webpage to remind you of the expectations for your handwriting.
