Thank you to all of our school community for your support and understanding in the circumstances.
As you will now be aware, we have had a positive case of Covid-19 within our setting. We have taken every precaution to protect our community as much as possible, following advice from Public Health England.
We appreciate that this must be a frustrating time, but I am sure you will know that there has been a rise in cases both nationally and locally. You will have read the official letters from Public Health England that we sent out earlier today.
Just to clarify:
- If your child is in the Year 5 bubble, they will have to isolate (and not leave their home) until 8th October. All other members of the household do not need to isolate unless anyone develops symptoms. If this was the case all members of the household should isolate and the person with symptoms should get a test.
- If your child is in isolation and you have another child in school, they will still be able to attend school. However, the child who is isolating will not be able to accompany you on the school run as they are not allowed to leave the home. This is Public Health guidance and we do appreciate that this will be inconvenient for many of our families.
- If your child is isolating in a bubble that has closed they will be able to access home learning through Class Dojo. Please get in touch if you do not have access to this so that your child's class teacher can set this up for you.
- If your child is isolating due to being off for any Covid-19 related absence and they feel well enough, they can access home learning on the class page on the school website.
Thank you again for your patience and understanding.
