Leeds Utd Fun Day

South Parade Primary & Leeds United Foundation Club Colours and Penalty Shootout Activity Day

Friday 21st May 2021

As many of you will already know, we have worked very closely with the Leeds United Foundation over the past few years. We have coaching and support from the Foundation every week.

The Leeds United Foundation is the official charity for Leeds United Football Club. The organisation aims to use the power of sport to educate, motivate, inspire and support people throughout the local Leeds community - a catalyst to improve people’s lives.

We are pleased to have their support for a joint fundraising day at the end of this half term. You don’t have to support Leeds United to join in – just enjoy having fun and being active!

The day will be a non-uniform day and children are asked to wear blue, yellow, white, pink or grey (or any combination of the five colours).  Children are asked to donate £1 to school funds for the day.

We will also be having a penalty shootout that day with our goal to raise money towards paying for new PE equipment that the whole school will benefit from and there are so AMAZING prizes up for grabs too including Elland Road Tours, footballs and shirts! We ask for a small donation to take part in the penalty shootout for the Foundation to help carry out the work it does for our communities. Our LUFC Foundation coach will support school staff on the day and we have invited Kop Cat to come along too!!

Further information and sponsor forms will be coming out today – please support us to make sure the children have a great day!
