Urgent update 19.07.21
We have had a report of a positive case of coronavirus yesterday in Nursery. The positive case was in the setting on Friday afternoon, therefore we are going to have to close our afternoon Nursery.
Due to the impact this will have on staffing, we are currently investigating whether we will be able to keep morning Nursery open for the remainder of the week.
We will let you know as soon as possible.
Thank you for your patience and understanding.
Firstly, we hope all the children who are not feeling very well get better soon.
After further discussion with our local public health team, we have made the decision to keep Nursery (both morning and afternoon sessions) closed tomorrow and will re-open Monday. This is due to the vast number of children with sickness and we want to prevent it from spreading any further if we possibly can.
Your child can only return to Nursery 48 hours after the last episode of vomiting or having diarrhoea.
Thank you for your co-operation and understanding.
We have an outbreak of sickness in Nursery. Due to the number of cases we have been advised by our local public health team to close the Nursery setting (both morning and afternoon sessions).
We will keep you updated on the situation and will inform you as soon as we know when we can re-open.
At the moment we have not had any confirmed Covid cases and are treating this as a sickness outbreak. However, if your child develops ANY Covid symptoms at all, please book them a PCR test and inform school of the outcome.
Please collect your child as soon as possible.
Thank you for your co-operation and we apologise for any inconvenience.
