Times Tables

At the start of Year 3, we begin by reinforcing our Year 2 times table multiplication and division facts to ensure confidence and fluency before moving on to the Year 3 expected times tables. We will have a big focus on this in class and look forward to working towards earning our certificates! 10 minutes per day practising our times tables will really help us to improve our speed, accuracy and confidence so any extra practise at home will really help. You can practise at home on TT Rockstars using your login, practise orally by chanting out loud or by answering quick fire questions.

Here are some links to other useful websites which you might like to explore which will help you with your times tables:

You can use the times table posters attached – one containing the Year 2 times tables (2,5 and 10s) and one containing the Year 3 times tables (3,4 and 8) although there is no need to worry about the Year 3 times tables until the Year 2 have been achieved. When you have achieved your Year 2 times tables at the correct pace, you will earn your Bronze Times Table Award in school. When you  achieve you Year 3 times tables at the correct pace, you will receive your Silver Times Table Award in school.

Happy practising!
