4th January 2021

This week we are looking at our bodies and what part of the body is associated with each of the 5 senses. During each of the following weeks we will take each one in turn and do lots of learning on each one. We are also looking at NHS workers and what kind of jobs we could do when we grow up!

Work through this PowerPoint and then write sentences on the writing sheet below.

14th December 2020
This week we are learning the Christmas Story and also singing Christmas songs.

Work through the PowerPoint below, then complete the colouring page and wordsearch. The songs linked on the Word document are the ones we are learning and recording.

This week we have continued our work on the United Kingdom. We have learnt about the flags, coloured them and then made our own flags

The National Oak Academy has a series of 5 lessons on the United Kingdom and London. Work through one lesson a day. There are activities to do too.

London Landmarks

This week we have started looking at the different buildings in London and what they are used for. We looked at video clips and read books. Watch the clips below so you can learn about these buildings. Then choose one or two to draw and sketch. Think about the lines and shapes when you draw.

Once you have discovered some of the amazing buildings and landmarks in London, have a go at finding them on a map. I've attached one below but there are many available on-line.

The Gunpowder Plot

Create more leaf creatures with these activity sheets! Enjoy the cool, crisp days collecting leaves to make some fantastic artwork.

All about my leaf activity - take a trip into your garden and find an autumn leaf. Use it to complete the following activity.

This half term we will be looking at seasons - especially changes from Summer to Autumn. Maybe you can do a 'signs of seasons' walk or even look in your garden!

Some activities can be found on the links below:
