Shape, Space and Measure Day 2023
On Tuesday 25th April 2023, we had a whole school Shape, Space and Measure Day! Each year group participated throughout the day using the outdoor environment. Children were encouraged to use their maths eyes and to recognise that maths is all around them! In groups, children took part in a range of challenges that covered many objectives from the National Curriculum, guided by their teachers and teaching assistants. Using our Progression Map, children were supported to complete tasks appropriate to their level of understanding and lots of children challenged themselves to stretch themselves even further!
