Dear parents / carers,
We are sure that after the statement from the Prime Minister last night, you will have lots of questions. We have lots of questions that we need clarification on too.
At the moment, for us in school, there is no change to the guidance. We will provide care for those parents whose work is critical to the Covid-19 response and for some of our more vulnerable pupils. The message is still that it is safer to stay at home.
We are still waiting for further clarification on the potential re-opening of school for children in Reception, Year One and Year Six. We expect to receive further information from the DFE shortly and will do an 'action plan' based on this advice.
We know there will be lots of things to consider and to put in place and we want to assure you that we will do everything possible to keep our children, teachers and families safe.
As always, we will keep you informed but for now, please try not to worry. We will continue for now, to provide learning activities for home through Dojo and Learning Book, and will keep contact with you, our families. We will continue to support each other in these very difficult and uncertain times.
Thank you and stay safe.
The staff at South Parade.
