• Merry Christmas!

  Our children have worked so hard this term and we wish them all a well deserved break. We also had lots of fun on the lead up to Christmas with lots of exciting events. We had our fantastic performances, hot chocolate and story afternoon, craft events, choir singing, shopping evening and the pantomime. We had a very happy little boy in reception yesterday who won Ernie the Elf in the SP Xtra raffle draw! 
  Thank you as always for your ongoing support. 
  We would like to wish all our families a very merry Christmas and best wishes for the new year.

  Please note on the day that your child has their party, they may come to school in party clothes that day.

  On Tuesday we will be having a hot chocolate and Christmas story afternoon. Your child may bring a teddy for this. A big thank you to our local sainsburys who have kindly donated all the hot chocolate and marshmallows for this event.

   

  On the last day of term (Friday) your child may wear their Christmas jumper or Christmassy themed outfit/ non uniform.

• Evening performances

  Evening performances

  If you are attending an evening performance and you are watching both the Y3/4 and Y5/6 performance due to having siblings in each year group/performance, we have set up a room for the non performing siblings to enjoy some IPAD time during the performance that they are not in. We are aware that it may be impossible for you to get back and forth between concerts and find childcare. We have such a large school and we want all parents to watch the shows but we are limited to numbers in the hall due to health and safety regulations. We hope you understand.

• Spare concert tickets

  Sorry for any confusion about concert tickets. We do have some spare spaces available for both KS1 performances (mainly for the Tuesday as Monday almost full) and the UKS2 performances. Please email admin@southparade.wakefield.sch.uk if you would like to request any extra seats.

  State name of child, which class and which performance you are requesting extra seat/s for please. 

  Spaces will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
