Home Learning

From September 2020, each class will have Home-Learning activities on their individual class-pages for children who need to access their learning at home due to isolating etc. They will be frequently updated to provide up to date learning.

Your child will have brought home a learning pack put together by their class teacher. Find below, a range of useful websites and activities which could be used to continue your child’s learning whilst they are self-isolating or if schools are closed for a prolonged period.



BBC Bitesize has worked with Twinkl to provide daily lessons which are supported by learning clips and games. There are targeted lessons for every year group with some AMAZING resources! Definitely one to have a look at.

English Activities
This is a great resource which provides a different picture to explore every day. Linked to this, there are ideas for a story, sentences to improve and questions to answer. There is often an art activity too!
These mini songs are ideal for pupils to learn to help them to remember different grammatical devices.
Following on from World Book day at the start of March, this website has a wealth of activities from online masterclasses to a primary resources section packed with resources to download and use.
This website provides videos that are great prompts for writing.  Each video comes with a range of writing ideas that can be done.

There are so many excellent links for English and maths activities for all Primary aged children.
This website is a great way to get help with different mathematical concepts.
KS2 children all have their individual logins for TT Rockstars.  Please keep up with practising times tables daily.

Twinkl, one of the most popular teaching resource websites, are allowing parents to download their free home learning packs containing a range of different resources. There are packs for different year groups.
