Mental health & well-being

Welcome to our Mental Health and Well being page. My name is Amanda Fowles and in addition to being the SENDCo, I am the Senior Mental Health Lead here at South Parade. I work really closely with Suzanne Banks, the Learning mentor and one of our Safeguarding officers, to support the Mental Health and Well being of our school community. So, whether you are a pupil, parent, carer or member of staff we are here for you.  In this section of the website I will upload resources onto the sub pages below that you might find useful. These have been collated from many sources including The Anna Freud centre, Future in mind, The Wakefield educational psychology service and The Wakefield Inclusion Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Support Service (WISENDSS). Some of them are designed to be used with children with Autism but are superb resources to use with all children. Please do not hesitate to contact me through the school switchboard (01924 302875) or by email; afowles@southparade.wakefield.sch.uk   if you need any additional support.

Take care and look after yourselves.
