Our school SENDCo

Amanda  Fowles

Hello,  I am the Special Education Needs and Disability Co-ordinator (SENDCo) here at South Parade Primary school.

I have twenty four years SEND experience and have a post graduate qualification in Special education needs. I am passionate about ensuring that all children access a full and broad curriculum and that their time at school is a happy and enjoyable experience.

As SENDCo I ensure that all staff are informed and updated about children on the SEND register and that all have an understanding of how best to help a child with SEND. I provide professional guidance and deliver in house training for all staff that support children with SEND. I work closely with teachers, support staff and outside agencies, therapists and other professionals to ensure a child's needs are met.

If you have a child with special needs and need help, advice or a sympathetic ear please do not hesitate to ring the school office and either leave your details and I will call you back or make an appointment to meet with me.

Please note that my working week is Tuesday to Friday.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Please find a copy of our SEND information report below.
