Homework  - 11.6.21

Home reading - book to be read, journal to be signed and returned.

Maths - work to be completed on the sheet - some of this topic may not have been covered last year, so we are finding out what the children know / don't know. Feel free to use the internet to search any subject. A useful website is

Next week is healthy week!
Children need to be in PE kit all week. A water bottle will definitely need, along with a sun hat and sun cream.
Included in healthy week, year 5 will be learning about puberty. This will be led and undertaken in a sensitive manner by the year 5 team.

We are looking forward to a range of activities from a range of sports coaches.

The homework can be completed on the sheet but must be returned by Wednesday at the latest.


Home reading books have been changed and must be returned by Monday in order for us to quarantine them, ready for changing later in the week.

Please ensure your child’s home reading journal has been signed and dated as evidence. Bug Club clubs can also be read and are available at any time should you wish to access them. Feel free to read your own material as well (If you do please log this in your reading journal as evidence of reading at home).


Spelling lists have also been sent out for your children to practise, ready for their test the following Friday. The words are:
