Although the weather conditions are still treacherous, we will be opening school today. We have worked tirelessly to make the grounds as safe as possible. The external paths and roads are out of our control, although we have been in touch with the local council. Some staff are still unable to get to school today due to their own individual circumstances but we do have enough staff to open safely.
With all of this in mind, the safety of our families remains our top priority, therefore if you deem that it is not safe to make the journey to school we fully understand in these extenuating circumstances.
We have created two gritted paths at the front of school from the two front gates to the main entrance. We insist that everyone stays on the gritted paths please. All children will enter through the main entrance.
Due to the increased volume of people coming through the main entrance we will extend our opening time from 8:40am to 9:10am.
