Understanding of the World
Through Understanding of the World, children make sense of their physical world and their community. Children's personal experiences increase their knowledge and sense of the world around them.
We enjoyed learning about Chinese New Year. We made lanterns, dragons and learnt to do the dragon dance.
We enjoyed going on a Spring walk and collecting some flowers from our walk. We then went back to Nursery and used water colour paints to do an observational painting of our flowers.
We learnt about floating and sinking and experimented with different objects to see what would make the boats sink.
World Faith Day - We enjoyed learning about the religion Christianity and decorating and making our own stain glass windows in the form of a cross.
