Art 2D to 3D Dogs
The children studied the artist Lubaina Himid to see how she made her 3D sculptures. They then explored negative and positive space to help enlarge an image. Using this knowledge, they enlarged an outline of their chosen dog onto card. After experimenting with different techniques, they used newspaper to make the dogs' fur. Once finished, Year 4 came to view our art exhibition. More photos can be found on the Class 14 photo page.
