Class 10 Photographs 2022/23

Today, we took part in an outreach programme from Wakefield Museums called ‘The Wild Escape’. We looked at a variety of animal themed artefacts from the museum and then went on to think about what would happen if they came to life, escaped from the museum and went back to their natural habitat. In groups, we worked together using cardboard and special tools to create the animal’s habitat.

World Book Day 2023

This year's theme for Children's Mental Health Week is Let’s Connect which is about making meaningful connections. People thrive in communities, and this connection is vital for our wellbeing. We enjoyed taking part in a paperchain activity which helped the children to think about the people, things and activities they feel connected to.

From shoelace fasteners to extra pairs of hands to doodle cars, we have had a great time creating our own inventions for our homework projects.

Science - we really enjoyed making our own toothpaste and testing its effectiveness against branded toothpastes.

We enjoyed our gladiator day.

Today, we have had a volunteer from the Canal and River Trust talking to us about canals and how and why they were made. We had a fun afternoon planning and making our own canals.

Children in Need

We enjoyed learning about the World's Rivers.
