On this part of the website, you will find all the latest news

and all the important information about Year 4.

Our termly newsletter will be put on here on the first Friday of every half term.  It will explain the things that we will be learning about as well as giving you details about the homework project.  We will also include any important dates for Year 4.

Spellings will be put on here every Friday as well as a paper copy being sent home and children can also access their own account on Spelling Shed.  If you need your child's log on details, please ask. A spelling test will take place every Thursday.

Times-tables are a very important part of your child's learning in Year 4 as they sit a national test in June.  Children have a weekly times tables test and have access to TT Rockstars to practise every day.  Please encourage your child to access this and if you need any additional resources please ask.  We have put a few links on the links section of this page.

Reading books will be changed when the children return them to school. We would like to aim for children's books to be changed as a minimum twice per week.

PE is currently on a Monday (Summer). Children need to come to school in their outdoor PE kit.

We would appreciate any contributions to our class fund. This can be handed to any of the adults in class who will put it in the class money box. This will go towards additional extras in our learning and for rewards in class.

Please ensure you are connected on Class Dojo as we use this form of communication to send messages and share information. However, please ring the office to report absences or if you need to send urgent messages throughout the day as Dojo isn't accessed until after school hours.

Any Dojo messages received after 4.30pm will be answered after 8am the following day or on Monday if they are sent over the weekend.

Photographs will be put on here on a regular basis,

to show you all the fun things that we have been up to.

Links will be added on a regular basis so please check every week.  When we add something new to our web-page, we will put a direct link on Class Dojo.

If you have any questions, please message your child's teacher on Class Dojo and they will get back to you as soon as they can.
